The Snyder Langston/Ware Malcomb design-build team provided a 29,882 s.f. concrete tilt-up maintenance building, with corresponding support structures, site improvements and interior amenities for John Wayne Airport. The Maintenance Building serves to consolodate and modernize pre-existing JWA facilities.
The project includes approximately 14,960 s.f. of shop maintenance space in the Airport Operations Area (AOA), and 9,922 s.f. of administration, office and receiving/dispatch spaces outside of the AOA. The project was designed and constructed to comply with all appopriate codes and ordinances including the 2010 California Building Codes and the California Green Building Standards.
