Snyder Langston constructed office support facilities totaling 560,000 s.f. Facilities include underfloor HVAC throughout. In addition to 400,000 s.f. of open and private office space, the complex has courtroom facilities, an officers club, a conference center, a command post and secure communications facilities. The project on a 41-acre site also includes a separate 17,000 s.f. child development center. Supporting the Air Force in their acquisition of space and missile systems from Los Angeles based defense contractors, the public-private partnership included the exchange of excess Los Angeles Air Force Base land in El Segundo, Hawthorne and Sun Valley and is to be transformed into residential use for the new facilities.
