Project Summary
The Bob Hope USO Orange County at John Wayne Airport provides an airport lounge for Active Duty Military, Active Reservists and their families, as they transit through the airport.
An estimated 50,000 troops and their families pass through John Wayne Airport each year. The new Bob Hope USO Center will provide the military and their families complimentary snacks and beverages, space to relax or rest and internet connection while traveling. The USO was mobilized in 1941, to support the growing Unites States Military during World War II. Today, the USO continues to provide global programs and initiatives to support the military community. Their mission is to lift the spirits of America’s troops and their families.
